Come and join a behind-the-scenes tour of JAM, one of Japan’s largest Risograph studios!<\/strong>

JAM will be holding an English version of the “JAM TOUR”, in which our team will walk you through our studio and store in Osaka. This tour will guide you through all the fun things we offer at JAM, from Risograph printing to our original screen printing kit. Plus there will be a choice of receiving our SPECIAL GIFT PACK with our original print samples which are usually only available in Japan. It will be livestreamed on Zoom so that everyone can join where ever you are. Let’s all get together and connect through Riso and screen printing! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Screen printing demo using SURIMACCA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We will show you around the store and workspace. There, we will give a quick demo on how to use the SURIMACCA, our screen printing kit, from building the frame, stretching the screen and finally printing samples. You might be surprised to see how easy screen printing can be with SURIMACCA! Also we will give you a quick intro to all the fun things that we have at our store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind the scenes of RETRO INSATSU, our Riso studio<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We will take you on a tour of the RETRO INSATSU studio, which is usually closed to the public, where we will explore the basic functions of the Risograph machine, doing some test prints on spot. We will also introduce you to the various types of finishings and bindings, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at Tsuyapuri, the glossy thermographic printing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this tour, there are two ways of joining. You can choose from either:

NOTE:
\u30fbSPECIAL GIFT PACKS will be sent out after the event. They will be sent via Japan Post by air mail . We cannot ship to countries that are not accepting small packets. Package arrival may be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

If you are new to Riso or screen printing and would like to learn more we would be more than happy to have you and encourage you to pop in. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the tour, so please use this opportunity to ask us anything about RETRO INSATSU or SURIMACCA. We would love if this event will become a platform to share and communicate about Riso and screen printing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This online tour will be conducted in English. It will be recorded and an edited version of the recording will be uploaded online thereafter for a limited time. If you can’t make it on the day of the event, you can still watch it later, so please feel free to join us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
